The Southeast Blueprint changelog includes high-level summaries and detailed descriptions of the changes made to the data and methods used in each new version.

As you may already know, SECAS staff are super passionate about documentation. We want to make it easy to learn how the Blueprint works, where the data comes from, and how each version of the Blueprint improves on the one before it. One important component of that documentation is the Blueprint changelog, which is now updated to capture what changed from Blueprint 2023 to 2024!

In the tech world, a changelog records the major changes made in a new version of a project or software program. We use the Blueprint changelog in the same way, recording what changed with each update, and why. When SECAS releases a new Blueprint, you already hear a lot about the big improvements to indicators, corridors, and prioritization methods. The changelog give staff a place to record every change, from those big updates to smaller tweaks.

You can download the changelog pdf directly. It is also now included in the Blueprint data download.
