- September 19th @ 10 am ET: The Southeast Regional Partnership for Planning and Sustainability (SERPPAS): Engaging cross-sector approaches to climate resilience. This month features a presentation by Addie Thornton and Michelle Covi with SERPPAS, a partnership working across six states to promote collaboration in natural resources and environmental challenges to sustain the military mission, ecosystems, and working lands. They will talk about SERPPAS’s work assisting military installations, defense communities and partners in sharing knowledge, tools, and lessons learned across the region to advance climate resilience.
- October 17th @ 10 am ET: The Gulf of Mexico Marine Assessment Program for Protected Species (GoMMAPPS): Modeling marine mammal density. This month’s presentation by Lance Garrison of NOAA’s Southeast Fisheries Science Center will showcase the results of marine mammal modeling efforts for the Gulf of Mexico used in the Gulf marine mammals indicator in the Southeast Conservation Blueprint.
- November 21st @ 10 am ET: 2024 Updates to the Southeast Conservation Blueprint and SECAS Goal Report. Rua Mordecai, Coordinator of the Southeast Conservation Blueprint, will discuss what’s new in the updates to the Southeast Conservation Blueprint and the SECAS Goal Reports that are scheduled for release later this fall.
